Rose Water Ramos Gin Fizz Recipe

There is something sort of magical about creamy, fizzy — especially when the recipe calls for an egg white. If you’re looking for a frothy style drink, look no further than the Ramos Gin Fizz. Typically, this classic cocktail calls for orange blossom water, but we wanted to put a spin on it and used rose water instead. This single ingredient substitution actually changes the entire vibe of the cocktail, in my opinion… and I love it! It’s perfect for a date night at home… or maybe if you’re watching The Bachelorette??

If you’ve ever wondered how to make a Ramos Gin Fizz, it could not be easier! Literally, just add most of the ingredients to a shaker and shake shake shake. Granted, it does take some time to get a proper froth, but I just chalk that up to a arm workout . And, of course, it is super important to make sure you’ve got a good gin on hand. Here in Seattle, we’re blessed with lots of locally made, small batch gins. My personal favorite is with it’s citrusy flavor profile. If you can find it, I highly recommend this delicious gin .

Combine all ingredients in shaker except for soda water. Add one ice cube and shake until ice cube dissolves. Open shaker and fill with ice, shake 30 more seconds, and double strain over ice in glass of your choice. Slowly add soda water pouring to one side of the cocktail. Garnish with edible rose petals.

See, isn’t this cocktail so easy to make?? Apparently, there is a stigma among bartenders about how long it takes to make each cocktail. I’d argue that it’s well worth the arm workout — especially once you taste one. And nothing quite beats the look of this pretty cocktail, too. I just love how the drink sort of resembles a marshmallow in it’s white fluffy, airiness.
